Update as of September 7th 2013:
Two notes were added to this version (and will be added to the other version) of the rules. They are as follows:
-If a member is found to be lying or hiding information from the forum moderators with intent to protect another user, then they will also be sanctioned.
-Punishment and sanctions given in the past under a different set of rules are still valid and do not merit any pardon in the event the rules change.
If there are any questions about this, you can contact any member of the Mod Team.

Update as of September 24th 2013:
A note has been editted in this version (and will be added to the other version) of the rules. The note, "-If a member is found to be lying or hiding information from the forum moderators with intent to protect another user, then they will also be sanctioned." has now been changed to the following:
"-If knowledge is withheld from a person who clearly has information on an offense that puts our forums or our members directly in danger, they can be banned for withholding that information. The only events considered to be a danger to our forums are situations where hacking related actions would put our forums or Fiendfyre in danger and when there is nudity spread or personal information, which results in an illegal act, used against a member of the community. To find someone guilty of withholding information there must be irrefutable evidence of that, gossip or hearsay is not a good basis for this."

Update as of November 10, 2013:
A few notes have been added to the rules:
"- These rules cover the forums, `H`ogwarts affiliated rooms and Habbo mass messaging, if said message is directed to the community at large about a member of the community. All other media are outside our jurisdiction, unless the matter is brought within our jurisdiction by a member of the community or the moderators and admins feel the perpetrator is a direct threat to the members of the community.
- Actions that are illegal in the United States of America and the offended party's country of residence are considered against the rules of `H`ogwarts.
- Questions that go un-posted and unresolved for a week or more can be resolved without the original poster's permission."

Update as of July 19th, 2015:
Added in a note about having trigger warnings in topics that may contain sensitive subjects
Appeal wait times have been updated, please read the following changes and make note of what you have to do when you appeal. Anyone who has received a perm ban BEFORE July 19th, 2015 will still have a 3 month appeal regardless of their warning level. However, if their 3 month appeal fails, they will have to wait the new amount of time.
EX: Bob is at 130% warning level and got banned on May 2nd, 2015. Bob can still appeal his ban at 3 months, even if his warning level is at 130%. HOWEVER, if Bobs appeal fails, then he must now wait a year.

Update as of September 27th, 2015:
Car Kid's Clause has been revised to be more specific
For the majority of cases all punishments will be within the parameters given. In the following cases the moderators are allowed to go out of the parameters to give a sanction:
- Trolling Accounts - Hacking Threats - Posting Porn - Spreading Child Porn - Direct Insulting* - Bullying*
*In the case of DA and Bullying, the Car Kids Clause can only be used when the CONTENT of those actions is of extreme nature.
In simpler terms, the mods can go beyond the established punishment measures when the action is illegal and/or breaks the ToS with Zetaboards.

Addition of a new rule and the slight rewording of an old rule:
13. Child Predation - For the community's safety, we refuse to tolerate acts that put our community and members at risk. Indecent exposure to a minor, spreading/possession of child pornography, and/or the coercion of a minor* to send pornographic images will result in a permanent ban from both the forums and RP that can never be appealed. For further information (such as a minor being the perpetrator, or the victim is of legal age) please refer to Rule 14. Sexual Harassment. *A minor is someone under the age of 18.
Minimum & Maximum Sanction: Permanent ban from both the RP and Forums with no chance to appeal.
14. Sexual Harassment Sexual Harassment is the bullying or coercion of someone in a sexual nature. Any crimes of a sexual nature will be treated extremely seriously, regardless of age. This includes but is not limited to: - Unwanted requests for sexual favours such as asking for explicit images, explicit video material or asking a member to engage in cyber sexual relations. - Unwanted sexual advances such as speaking to someone in a sexual manner or explicitly detailing sexual content to another member. - Sending unsolicited explicit images to another member. - Spreading another members explicit images without consent.
Minimum Sanction: 3DB Maximum sanction: Indefinite ban from both the RP and forums with a chance to appeal in 3 months.*
*This will be upheld by a two strike policy - if the perpetrator commits the offense again, they will be permanently banned from both the RP and forums with no chance to appeal. This includes cases where a minor has spread the pictures and/or where the victim is over the age of 18.
